Sunday Service in Person and Via Zoom: The Liberatory Power of Ritual: Flower Communion Service

Worship Team: Katharine Childs, Sandra Hunt, Eleuthera Diconca-Lippert, Shoshanna Green, Caite Clark, Camellia Jahanshahi

For those in the sanctuary: Please bring a flower!

UU Seminarian QuianaDenae Perkins joins the worship team for our annual  multigenerational Flower Communion ritual.  As we get back into the groove of our beloved ritual and celebrate our flower ceremony for the first time both in-person and online, we'll explore the power of ritual and how it can help us build our spiritual muscles.  Join us as we explore the liberatory power of getting into the groove of ritual and how it can help us make meaning and create space where we can be held, and in turn hold others in our spiritual community.

QuianaDenae Perkins is a Seminarian at Starr King School for the Ministry and a UU ministerial aspirant. Most recently she served UU of Ann Arbor in a coordinator role. She has also worked with the Church of the Larger Fellowship (Co-host of The VUU - Voices of Unitarian Universalism) and Black Lives of UU (BLUU). She is the mother of two busy teens, she loves nature walks and bird watching. QuianaDenae’s ministry centers: on pastoral care, activism, and collective liberation.
