From Katharine Childs, Director of Religious Exploration:
Our Religious Explorations programme for children & youth works with our Theme-Based Ministry worship themes to provide relevant, diverse programming which gives families touch points to carry into their daily lives.
Our weekly religious explorations newsletter lets families know about the upcoming Sunday programming, as well as follow up suggestions from the previous week. Sign up to receive our weekly email with a preview of our Spirit Jam activity, ideas for following up and expanding on the previous week's experiences, and reminders about upcoming church-wide activities like potlucks, hikes and adventures, and special programs. You can also check out the RE newsletter archive.
Have questions or feedback about the program, or concerns about bringing your family to church? Please email Katharine Childs, Director of Religious Exploration (dre@ucmtl.ca). We do our best to accommodate the diverse needs of our community, and to create a program that's inclusive of all our backgrounds and abilities!

Mx. Katharine Childs is a UU Religious Educator, storyteller, and curriculum writer. Since 2015 they have served Unitarian Universalism here, in their hometown, on the traditional territory of the Kanien’keha:ka people as the Director of Religious Explorations at the Unitarian Church of Montreal. They are the chair of CUURE (Canadian UU Religious Educators), they serve on the Canadian Unitarian Council’s QUUest Task Force, and as the continental conference planning chair of the Liberal Religious Educators Association (LREDA).
